Facilities
Our 35 hectare campus is set on the on the eastern buttress of Table Mountain, in the heart of Cape Town. Our academic facilities boast modern, state of the art classrooms with fully equipped science laboratories, two state-of-the-art computer centres, a library and media centre and various technology rooms. Wynberg’s proud sporting achievements are enabled by our world class sporting facilities including a fully equipped gymnasium, a heated swimming pool, two hockey astros, glass-backed squash courts, six tennis courts, two basketball courts, a cardio park and various sports pavilions. The campus further includes a coffee shop, a boarding house for 110 students, a 1000-seater Hall, a 160-seater auditorium and music centre, outdoor amphitheatre, museum, staff accommodation, numerous well-cared for fields, and a cafeteria – all embraced securely in the heart of the historic Wynberg greenbelt in close proximity to Wynberg Boys’ Junior and the Wynberg Girls’ High & Junior Schools.

Sport Options
Wynberg offers a plethora of sporting opportunities for our learners, suited to all, whether you choose to begin a new sport of are a well-established athlete. We participate in numerous sports fixtures throughout our many sports, and we invite parents to become involved in the achievements of their sons. We help facilitate this by providing up-to-date communication with regards to our sporting fixtures, results, special achievements as well as access to our sport photo galleries. Our top-quality coaching staff ensure that learners are able to succeed at all levels, whether learning a sport for the first time or competing at an international level.

At Wynberg Boys’ we understand the far reaching value of a well-rounded education. This is why we place importance not only on commitment to academic excellence, but also participation in the various cultural activities offered outside of the classroom. We understand that creativity is an important and necessary quality in our ever changing world and seek to encourage and nurture creative development in all of our learners.

We invite parents and learners to come and visit our campus, to get a feel for the Wynberg experience. We offer open days throughout the year to fully showcase our campus and the different opportunities available at Wynberg Boys’ High School. Our next open day will take place on the 11th of February, 2020.
