Monday 1 – Tuesday 30 November 2021: After all the fun of Charity Week with gatsby’s for the greater good and civvies day to chase staff head-shaving pledges, it could be said it had been hair today, gone tomorrow, but our staff is back with passion, this time in aid of the Men’s Foundation throughout Movember.
Some of our male staff have committed to being Mo Bros until 30 November, growing and grooming their moustaches. Each week we’ll bring updates on progress (or not) via the Wynberg Friday Follicles in our weekly newsletter and on social media.

About the Men’s Foundation of South Africa
Funds raised by the Men’s Foundation is spent across 3 key areas, applying the global foundation’s best practice approach, programme funding will be split between;
- Funding Awareness and Education, through the annual Movember campaign, and
- Funding Programme investment into Research and Survivorship through selected registered NGO
To maximise outcomes and increase the focus of addressing key health issues affecting South African men, in 2015, with the establishment of the Men’s Foundation, programme investment opportunities with registered NGO’s outside of CANSA.
While a lot has been achieved in this space, there is still extensive programme investment required surrounding prostate and testicular cancer awareness, survivorship and research, although the high rate of suicide amongst South African men could not be ignored.
