“From an Acorn to an Oak Tree – A Musical Celebration”

Venue: Arnold Lorie Hall, Wynberg Boys’ Junior School, Oxford St, Wynberg. The premier cultural event of the year. Specially created to take us on a captivating musical journey through Wynberg’s 175 years, the show features 250 star performers, comprising Old Boys and current students of WBHS and WBJS.

Founders’ Day – 11h00 in the Clegg Hall at Wynberg Boys’ High School. Guest Speaker, Old Boy Andrew Feinstein (Class of 1981), former MP and author.

A Final Salute on the Spectators’ Embankment at the Hawthornden Field with an address by the High School Head Boy and Old Boys, followed by a Celebration Tea.

Open invitation to all, and especially to those who’ve been involved in the staging of the 175 Celebrations.

Entrance is Free.

A MAJOR EVENT & Good Fun for All! 

Six a Side Cricket at PPC Park, Newlands: High School 1st Teams join their prominent Old Boys to take on sports icons of other schools. A social place for teens, families and a chance for Old Boys to renew friendships & rivalries in a remarkable setting.


Monday 1 February 2016, Morning and Noon

Pipers and Drummers lead the Schools on a Street Parade followed by a 175 formation on the Hawthornden Rugby Field, a Flag Raising Ceremony and Special Assembly.


Wednesday 3 February 2016, 19h00

Concert Band Boutique Evening in the Arnold Lorie Hall at the Junior School. The first in a series of specialist concerts showcasing the school’s Old Boy and current music talent.


Thursday 4 February 2016, 18h00

Unveiling of the Sculptured Frieze mold of Wynberg’s Four Pillars in the Oude Wijnberg Museum, followed by the High School Prizegiving.


Friday 5 February 2016, 15h30 & 18h30

Reunion for Littlewood Old Boys:
First Session: 15h30-18h00 – Afternoon Tea and Tour of the Hostel
Second Session: 18h30-onwards – Tours of the Hostel followed by Dinner.

Open invitation to all Littlewood Old Boys and Staff.

Entry: R250 per person. R150 for under 25’s.
