Wynberg Boys’ High and Junior Schools are gearing up to celebrate 175 years at the heart of the Wynberg Community: 1841 – 2016.

The Schools are reaching out to our Wynberg Families and Friends across the globe to ‘come on home in 2016’ to be part of an historic milestone in the Life of Our School within our community in a show of ‘Following the Wynberg Flag’ around the world while prepping a dazzling array of Celebratory and Thanksgiving activities during February and August of 2016.

The 175 Team

Responsible for the promotion of the ‘Oude Wijnberg’ double magnums, Kathy Cassells brings to the project 11 years of experience at Uitsig Wine Estate in the Constantia Valley. Her passion for the Valley’s heritage and traditions, and her knowledge of service ensures that the ‘Oude Wijnberg’ Shiraz from the High School’s private vineyard is carefully delivered to collectors and enthusiasts. Kathy’s son is a Wynberg Man in Grade 11.

As WBHS Marketing Manager, Jeanette Muller is involved in almost all aspects of the school. The 175 Celebrations are a key focus for her, particularly during the launch week (30 January – 5 February 2016) and Founders Week (22-27 August 2016) when most of the dedicated 175 events will be staged. Jeanette is the mother of a Wynberg Man in Grade 11.

Ann Coltham is the Celebrations Co-ordinator, working with project managers across the varied 175 programme. She brings 16 years of corporate experience to the celebrations and her son is a Wynberg Man in Gr 10.
