Wynberg Boys attend the UCT IS Expo

IT Excursion to UCT IS expo

On 25th October 2011, the Grade 10 IT class  attended an Information Systems Expo hosted by UCT at which the final projects of honours and 3rd year students were on display.

The boys were given a short presentation by representatives of BSG before viewing the work on display.The majority of the projects were HTML based websites that support charity and food distribution organisations.

After viewing the projects and talking to the students, the boys went to a food court to have lunch where they interacted with UCT students and experienced a moment in the life of a student. It was a very interesting and successful day which inspired some of the boys to pursue a career in IT.
