All Wynberg Teams at Home vs Rondebosch: 18 April 2015
Wynberg Rugby Festival
Huge pre-season work has gone into this event: 21 schools across all High School ‘A- Side’ age groups will play out on our¬†Hawthornden and Silverhurst Fields on 25 and 27 April. This event continues to grow in schools rugby stature, attracting schools from across the country. Again this year we are grateful to Standard Bank for providing the much needed sponsorship. Come along and support us, or follow all the teams on Facebook on our Wynberg Rugby Festival dedicated Page. Fixtures are all confirmed, keep an eye out for the Festival Pre-Event Social Media launch.
The 2015 League Season
A few new innovations this year are:
Playing the Boland schools one team down from C teams e.g. U15C vs Paul Roos U15D
On days we play cross section fixtures e.g. Strand, our 2nd XV will play DF Malan 1st XV and our 3rd XV will play Strand 2nd XV.  U14, U15, and U16B teams in a similar format.
U14 age group now use Size 5 balls.
