Wynberg’s quarterly online magazine, our June edition ‘eMag’, is now available for PC users and our online Winter Cricket Tour Diary carries the daily match updates and social media links from our cricketers in Gauteng.

Wynberg’s eMag – Headmaster Mr Richardson writes:

“This is the second quarterly Online Magazine produced by Pat Rogers, our school librarian. It is a most extensive and in-depth magazine which gives readers a wide-ranging and all-embracing view of the broad activities of this school.

The theme of this magazine is ’20 Years of Democracy’ with the questioning thread running through: Are we living up to the huge expectations of 1994? Perhaps, former pupil and later Headmaster, Bruce Probyn sums it up best when he reflects in his article on Page 5, ‘Twenty Years On’ : Wynberg is undoubtedly a better place… Boys are more compassionate and have developed social consciences….they are better people than we were at Wynberg.

Then comes the injunction: It is not so much about being grateful… It is about the boys recognising the opportunities… and using them.

Hopefully, this edition of the magazine shows that they are.

A number of Parent and Old Boy advertisers have come on board. Please support them. No doubt they recognise the potential in the Wynberg family.

Regards and Happy Reading!”  Click here to read

Wynberg’s Digital Cricket Tour Diary – Master in Charge of Cricket, Mr Hewett writes:

“It is with great pleasure that I compose a few lines (about) the Wynberg Boys’ High School 1st XI Winter Cricket Tour to Gauteng. A tour that we trust will enable 13 keen and committed Wynberg cricketers – ranging in ages from 14 to 18 – the opportunity to develop further all aspects of their games against top-class opposition from the Highveld on hardened and dry winter pitches and entrench the Wynberg policy of offering its cricketers year-round opportunities to immerse themselves in this great game.

Enjoy following the online Diary!” Click here to read
