Wynberg Boys' High School: De Waal House Day 2015

After many discussions and negotiations, we are pleased to announce that we will be having our De Waal House Day at Groot Constantia. This is a beautiful venue and the management of Groot Constantia have gone out of their way to accommodate us. The boys will be able to use the facilities free of charge and will only pay towards their lunch.

  • Hike through the Vineyards: 2 hikes – one will be more challenging than the other.
  • Team building/ sports/board games on terrace 2 (large piece of beautiful green lawn with tress around the perimeter).
  • Lunch at about 12h00: Boys will each receive a hamburger and chips which will be supplied by Jonkershuis restaurant. Boys may bring their own cool drinks but they will also be able to purchase from the restaurant. If any boys have any special dietary requirements, they must please let me know by the Wednesday 25 November the latest and Jonkershuis will provide an alternative. I will also request that the meat will be Halaal for the Muslim boys.
  • Boys to be collected at 13h00 from Jonkershuis car park.

Cost: R40 for lunch meal. This can be sent to school in an envelope with your son’s name and grade on the outside or you can do an EFT into the De Waal Account. Please use the following as a reference: 3204/020 and the name, surname of your son.
