Friday 9 June 2017: Wynberg Boys’ High and Junior Schools, together with Wynberg Old Boys’ Union, and Caffè Pronto who manage our Old Boys’ Pavilion, support the Knysna Relief Efforts and call on our extended Wynberg Family and Associates for material donations to the victims of the disastrous fires in the area.

Many of the victims have lost everything and the following appeal has been published on the Knysna Municipality Facebook Page:

“Sanitary goods, toiletries, nappies and water needed urgently. These items may be dropped off at the Checkers mall parking area.”

All material donations may be delivered to the Bill Bowden Pavilion, adjacent the WBHS main rugby field, Mondays – Fridays from 09h00 – 21h00. Wynberg will coordinate directly with the authorities in Knysna for delivery and distribution.

This drive was initiated by Caffè Pronto and as such all donors will receive a Caffè Pronto coffee at the Pavilion.

For regular official updates on the fires, and developing needs for assistance, follow Knysna Municipality on Facebook.

Please contact Mandy Clark, of Caffè Pronto at the Bill Bowden Pavilion, for more donation information: 082 331 4069.
