Vision Statement:

We want WBAA to be a place where one can express his/her individual creativity. WBAA would like to increase the number of members, promote drama, create more interaction between other schools, and maintain the interaction between WGHS and WBHS.

At Wynberg we believe that drama encompasses discipline, knowledge, creativity and courage. It serves as a platform for self-expression and bringing out individuality. In WBAA classes, we learn skills which include voice and speech, stage performance and looking at new and innovative ways of acting. The classes are also attended by interested girls from WGHS. We undertake the processes, imaginative exercises and warm-ups actors do in preparation for a performance, and also play drama games to stimulate creativity and alertness.

This year WBAA will be performing ‘As You Like it’ at Artscape as part of the International Shakespeare Schools Festival.
