Peer Support Update – by Grant Oliver
(Gr.10)
The matrics of 2004 have left the group and
we now consist of Grade 10 and 11’s. We are
working hard to ensure the running and productivity
of Peer Support at WBHS. We will be becoming more
active in the community, hoping this will send out
a clear message that we are here to help. We would
like to visit shelters, organisations and places where
we are needed.
We have meetings with Wynberg Girls’ High School
but we will soon be meeting with many other schools.
In doing this, we communicate about issues and therefore
we get different opinions and perspectives from different
people.
We are looking forward as we move along and we see
Peer Support becoming a great shoulder to lean on
for suport in every Wynberg man’s life. |
