Top of Page ... Cultural Overview 2008 There are several exciting Cultural events to look forward to this year. I will highlight just a few. On the 7th March there will be a function at the school with non stop music, played from late afternoon, into the evening. Several bands have been invited to play. This promises to be great fun, with lots of activities for the whole family and food on sale. On the evening of the 8th March the Wynberg Boys’ High School bands are once again playing at the Waterfront in the “Clash of the Concertos” which is an inter-school band competition. Please support them. Our boys and girls from Wynberg Girls’ High, have auditioned for this year’s major production, which is a Musical Revue entitled “Broadway Celebrations”. There is some awesome talent at these two schools and I have every confidence that Mr Botha, together with his team of assistants will create a spectacular show. Opening night is on the 25th July.
