Department Aims and Philosophy:
The aim is to promote the enjoyment of music, and
to reach as many pupils as possible with the hope
that when they leave school, they will be the music
lovers who will support and maintain the music heritage
of South Africa.
Appeal for Music Instruments
The WBHS Music Department would like to appeal to
old boys and parents that we are in need of instruments
for the Concert and Jazz Bands.
We need the following: Trumpets or Cornets; Trombones;
French Horns; E flat Horns; Tubas; Clarinets; Flutes;
Saxophones and percussion instruments.
If there is any one out there that has an instrument
lying around, gathering dust and not being used, then
this is the ideal opportunity to donate it to the
school for a good cause. |
