Wynberg Boys High School has always been, and continues to be a school of academic excellence. A dedicated and highly qualified team of staff work diligently to ensure that student potential is fully materialised. It is the policy of the Academic Committee to ensure that an optimal academic environment is created where students can make full use of the opportunities afforded to them at Wynberg Boys' High School.

Goals for 2008

  • To create and uphold an environment in which all pupils have the opportunities and resources available enabling them to achieve their highest academic potential.
  • To maintain Academics as the fundamental pillar and important focus point amongst all the aspects of Wynberg Boys’ High School.
  • To create awareness within the student body of career opportunities available to them when they leave Wynberg Boys’ High.
  • To promote and develop programmes in which pupils are afforded the opportunity to improve their academic capabilities.
